For some listeners very acquainted with Chopin you might be able to spot a fragment from his “Barcarolle.” I use this fragment to create the piece. I feel an affinity for Chopin as I have Polish ancestry (my grandmother was born there) and I am told there are still relations there in the city of Opole.
I take this modified fragment and proceed to touch on all 12 major keys. The trick was to do so without making it seem like a gimmick and to never interfere with the melodic flow.
