“Kiki”

Kiki was the female Lhasa that lived with us for 18 and a half years. Though she inevitably had a very long life for a dog, that was nearly not so.
When she was barely one year old, she contracted a lung disease and the local vet told us that we would have to end her life soon.
Mary and I refused this idea and I took Kiki to the University of Minnesota Vets. After taking prednisone for about a month, she recovered and lived over 17 years more.
This proves the value of a second opinion.
We now have another beautiful girl who is one and a half named Sasha (“Sashi”).
She is in perfect health, thank God.
