There are several versions of this song which is (by far) my most popular. This is a solo version. There are about four recorded group versions.
“Butterfly” is basically a “musette” waltz with an occasional bar of 2/4 added in the main theme. It was inspired by the circuitous flight of a monarch butterfly that I observed during my daily jog in the nearby woods.
